I am beginning to realize that I have passed the aging point of no return. The first fifteen minutes of any conversation with any friend in my age group is about our ailments. Last month I had dinner with a friend who is in fabulous shape. She is turning seventy next week. She is tall and slender and solid and her skin is fabulous. I don’t think she goes out in the sun.
Beautiful. Here's my personal solution that's been working so far. I have made it a priority to have new friends who are younger then me (mixed in with those more my age)... by at least 20 years. They don't talk about their ailments....yet. Also, I love teaching. Why?My students - all executives and entrepreneurs - are all 30-40 plus or minus a few years. It fools me into thinking I'm only slightly older than them. It's magic for me.
