Thirty years ago. I am standing at the window of an apartment on the twenty-third floor of the San Remo, one of the amazing old buildings on Central Park West in New York City, looking out at the stunning view. I think the fact that you were once in a high-rise in NYC (West side, thankfully) and are now living happily among the trees in Maine, grateful for every morning and exploring everything you do and are...pretty much speaks for itself that you are not following anybody's pied piper but your own!
