Agree. But that wasn't my point. I was just trying to say that being 82 means that OTHERS don't any more judge me based on what I DON'T accomplish. My own internal judgement engine is another matter...
I stopped listening to others years ago. I have a posse to whom I pay attention to, and I know they are on my team. You of course, are part of it. So grateful...
As for the voice inside. Michael singer changed my life. I used to believe her, that voice inside, but she is the biggest liar of all. Her goal is to protect my past... and the dangers my past experience brought me. And, so I anticipate danger (or laziness) around every corner, when in fact, it's just not. I silence her the minutes she tells me you didn't answer my email because you hate me (Hypothetically of course). I am braver, less worried and stress since I told her to take a hike.
The nice thing about being 82 is that nobody judges me for what I don't do or accomplish...just for what I do. So being accused of being lazy is off the table for others. Now if I could just get it off my internal table, I would be set for twilight years of relatively inactive bliss!
you don't fool me... you travel, cook amazing meals and have infinite energy to help me and others as we grow... you are a force to be reconned with...
