I was four, according to family lore, when I started going door to door in our Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, subdivision, knocking on doors. I love this. I think a posse is a special group of friends; ones who actually think about how they can support you, encourage you, assist you, not just have a glass of wine (or diet coke) and some laughs. Those people are great to have too, but they are not a posse. A real posse is like your neighbors (and you) having each other's backs and even planning ahead for what to do when they might need you, or something that could inspire, help or challenge you--essential thinking about benefitting you. It's the thinking that makes them part of your posse, and you theirs. I have lots of friends, but now that I'm thinking about it..maybe no posse? A good thing to work on for 2023. Greatness was never achieved alone!
